The simplest way is to completely acknowledge to yourself that they're a liar, and that as a person you don't want any kind of relationship with them - once they've lied about one thing, they'll continue to be a liar as it's part of their make-up

If you try to look for their good points, then no matter what you're not going to have an easy time getting over them, so just concentrate on their lies and it should make it easier, not to mention having as little contact with the person as possible...
