Hi First of all do you know if it is an automatic or a standard???? It also matters what size engine. I know hat a 289 is......... If it is an automatic look at the back of the engine their should be a dip stick if you look down and towards the back near the fire wall. Then pull it out and use a funnel to fill it with dextron oil. If you are sure it is low;..... before you do all of this make sure it is idleing and check the level to see if it is actually low. Gradualy add small amounts, i belive that the total campacity of it is one gallon when drained.
No dipstick on the manual transmission , fluid level is checked underneath the car at the transmission fill plug
There is no dipstick on the standard transmission , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission
On a 2005 Ford Mustang GT the automatic transmission does not have an automatic transmission fluid level dipstick ( and the manual transmission fluid level is checked underneath the vehicle at the transmission fill plug )
Through the dipstick tube. Unless its a manual transmission you have to go under the car and fill it through the transmission fill plug
Actually , the manual transmission does not have a dipstick , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission
There is a fill plug on the body of the 5 speed manual transmission
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission underneath the car
Your mustang with a manual transmission takes automatic transmission fluid. the capacity is 5.6 Pts (US). The fill plug is located on the side of the transmission. Macs Transmissions 281-394-4951 Macstransmissions@gmail.com
