On my retrofitted to R134-A the fill valve is underneath the airbox. You have to take it out to get to it.
It takes 5 quarts for the 3100 v6
well basically you need to fill your coolant system up I'm not familiar with Chevy's but refer to the car manual
it takes a second for the oil galleys and passageways to fill with oil and create pressure
Drain, pull out the old radiator, put in the new radiator, fill with 50/50 antifreeze and distilled water, put on cap, drive on.
With doing a complete drain and fill, the capacity is 10 quarts. If only doing a filter change, the amount needed is 7.4 quarts.
Engine? 3.1L V6 are notorious for intake manifold gasket leaks. get it fixed soon or your engine is at risk. My Lumina had oil in coolant and coolant in oil. If there is tan foamy stuff on oil fill cap, coolant is in oil too.
should be two plugs on side of tranni, one for drain and other for fill!
I have a 6 cylinder 3.1 96 Chevy Lumina and it gets 20 mpg. The way to figure you mpg, fill your tank, record how many miles you drive till its very close to empty, then take the miles number and divide it by how many gallons your car holds. Usually 16.5 gallons. Good luck.
A fill spout on a Chevy Suburban is used as the inlet for filling an FIBC.
on my 1992 lumina z34 its about 5 inches from top on passenger side of car directly below radiator fill spout
