Through the expansion tank, on the inner wing in front of the battery. Ensure the engine is cold. Remove the filler cap and inspect the cap seals for wear and but new if needed. Refill with antifreeze/water/corrosion inhibitor mixed to suit weather conditions. Never run these engines for long periods on just water. To fill the radiator from empty is the same method but squeeze the lower hose occasionally while filling to disperse trapped air. Before replacing the radiator cap after a full refill, run the engine for a short time so air can be circulated out. Top-up as necessary. When fitting the cap make sure the cap seal and where it seats in the tank are free from grit/debris. Run the engine up to normal temperature. Switch off and let the engine cool for at least an hour. Check the coolant level and top-up as necessary. The older the Jag the less reliable (if fitted) the coolant level sensor can be.
