you don't the compressor does unless its off in the truck, that's usually where the switch is.
if it doesnt have a rediator then fill it through the reservoir bottle
On a 1997 Lincoln Continental : If the gas tank was empty ( 17.8 U.S. gallons )
If I remember correctly, it has a 25 gal. fuel tank
Fill through the dipstick tube (Driver's side of engine near rear)
If you cannot find where to fill the air bags with air, follow the air line from each bag and see if you can find an air line connector,My thought is that it's somewhere near the airbag.
Brake Fluid: fill to line. Coolant: fill to line. Power Steering:fill to line Oil fill:5 to 5.5 qts. Transmission:13.7 qts. Fuel Tank: 20 gallons
bags of what?
Yes or the ride height sensor is bad. If the sensor is bad the bags fill, deflate and refill.
My guess would be it was coming on alot to fill the bags which were probably leaking and burned itself out which means it has to be changed.
air
There is a leak in the system. The rear fills first but the pump overheats and shuts down to protect it before the front can be filled. The rear bags both fill off 1 line but the front are independent. I'd check for a leak in the front system before the compressor dies.
cant find the Lincoln V8 L.S. transmission check and fill
