Volunteers of America ( established l896-) is a Charitable organization. Members and officers funciton generally unpaid- hence, in part, the name. It is not, by any means, an Employment agency. do NOT confuse with VISTA_ Volunteers In Service to America- the so-called Domestic Peace Corps- founded in the Kennedy-Johnson administrations. They used to advertise on buses. I never saw a ( field Office).
