You can find them under wet and/or rotting logs. Maybe under large rocks too. Theywill probly be buried about an inch into the soil. a good place too look for them is in the woods mainly after it rains. There only around in warm weather also. Hope that helps you.
ok.... you can find salamanders just about anywhere moist. After it rains you can find some under rocks or even under a deck. If it is humid out you can find them any where! I found one under a large rock i my back yard i still have it in a tank today! I found it about three months ago :] Great Question!

you can find salamanders under rocks, cool, damp places and along the edges of woods and near dirt. Also, shortly after rain.
umm check under rocks after it has rained that's where i find them.
you look in muddy shaded areas that are usually covered with something unless its a eastern tiger salamander you would find them in flooded areas like i found mine.
In Alaska
if u want them keep them in there or if you dont catch them and let them go in a nother pond
It's OK.
Depends on how many double corks the Salamander did while it was pregnant. It's usually just a couple.
Go on line and find a breeder near you.
Under heavy rocks
just look in wet places if you have a pool there might be one there. i always find them after it rains
