I have several "sand" paintings by an artist named Van Dam, but I can't find anything online about the artist or paintings. My parents bought them when we were living in England in the 1970's. Do you know anything about the artist, like a first name?

When citing paintings in text according to academic guidelines, include the artist's name, the title of the painting in italics, the year it was created, and the location of the painting if known. For example, (Artist's Last Name, Year, Location).
If you mean Picasso's painting, it is from 1918. ALWAYS name the artist when you ask about paintings!!
