How do you find and check the turn signal flasher on a 2002 Impala I think it also controls the hazzard lights?

The flasher is built into the hazard light switch. You have to remove dash and take it out from the rear of the dash panel.

More than likely a bad flasher relay for the turn signals. The hazard lights use a different flasher relay.
