Sometimes questions don't get answered quickly on WikiAnswers for several reasons:1. Perhaps no one who sees the question knows the answer to the question.2. If the question is in the wrong category, or just placed in Miscellaneous or especially in Uncategorized. Uncategorized is a HUGE category with thousands of questions and it is easy for a question to sit in Uncategorized for a long time without getting an answer.3. One thing that stops questions from being answered is when a person writes anything, such as a clarification of the question, repeating the question, additional information, or just gibberish, in the answer box. This makes the question stop appearing as an unanswered question, so when people do searches for questions to answer, they won't find that one.
It depends on how many users are online and how difficult the question is. Such as this one, it can be answered once it is found. However, since it is in the "Uncategorized" category, it will be harder to find.
Find a category you know a lot about and answer all the questions you can. You can also try browsing the Miscellaneous or Uncategorized categories and putting questions where they belong.
Click on "Browse Categories" on the blue sidebar on the left. Use the search box to type "uncategorized" then click "go"
There are MANY questions out there on this website, it takes time for MANY of them to be answered, you're not the only one who has this problem like some. I would if it has not been answered, send it to someone or find the closest relevant answer and use that as a base and wait a little longer before YOUR question is answered.
Many questions haven't been answered yet... including this one up to about 10 seconds ago. :) It would be impossible to list them all, since there are so many, and the list is constantly changing. If you want to find unanswered questions in general though, that is really easy. Just go to any category, and find the "All unanswered questions" link. That will list out all the unanswered questions for you, and you can start answering them. What fun, eh?
On wiki answers all the questions are already answered for you.
This site is a wiki, and in order to get questions answered, we rely on the help of our users. As a group, we answer each other's questions and assist each other. Each day, we get more questions than answers. We try to make up for that by doing research and have other people pitch in, or other solutions, but in the end we can't keep up with every question, every day. That said, there are some things that you can do as you ask that might help get an answer. Make sure you get the spelling right... otherwise your exact question might be here, already answered, but you won't get to it. Also try categorizing your question... some people watch and answer questions in a certain category, and it is harder to find questions that are floating around uncategorized. And, definitely, feel free to help answer questions. :)
This question has been answered numerous times in the previous questions. Probably the most FAQ in this category.
