Edison Brothers Stores Inc 501 N. Broadway St. Louis MO 63102-0000 Have been trying to get ahold of telephone number. I have a plan number with the Pension Plan; as well as an Id. number. So far I've had no luck contacting them! But anyone that worked for them knows how hard it is/was to get and find out what information you need. I worked for them for 15 years in New Jersey and Pennsylvania shoe stores. I was just told by a S.S. Administrator to write to the company (EBS); And if no reply call Social Security Administration. Good Luck! I'm going to keep trying to get in touch with EBS!
Yes, commonly referred to as the "old plan" but a very compelling option was offered to convert you "old plan" to a portable plan about 8 or 9 years ago..many people did and then they could choose to retire early, leave to start a business etc. without needing to wait till the sweet spot in the retirement plan. A GREAT company to work with and do business with...A mutual benefit is a shared benefit and that will endure! Great leadership from the owners...and it works.

To get your retirement pension, you typically need to have contributed to a retirement plan or pension scheme during your working years. When you reach the eligible age for retirement, you can apply to start receiving pension benefits, which are usually paid out regularly, such as monthly or annually. The amount you receive will depend on various factors, including your contributions, the length of time you contributed, and the specific terms of the pension plan.

To find out Esmark Inc pension benefits for Leonard Suchocki's widow, you would need to contact the HR department or pension administrator of Swift, Esmark Inc, or the pension plan provider directly. You will likely need to provide documentation such as a death certificate and marriage certificate to prove eligibility for survivor benefits. It's important to act promptly to ensure you do not miss any deadlines for claiming benefits.
