There is a way to travel for free on gatway bridge :
I have saved at least $1500 doing this.
when traveling on gateway bridge find a big truck and drive close behind it.(make sure your govia tag is taken off otherwise you will be chardged)
The cameras cannot pick up your number plate if you drive close behind a truck therefore a free trip is earned.
If there are no truck unfortunalty you will have to pay, but i found 8 out of 10 times there is a truck for me to travel behind.
Have fun just trying to help with cost cause the government is ripping us off
Shore to shore, the Bribie Island Bridge is 840m. For comparison purposes, the Ted Smout Bridge between Redcliffe and Shorecliffe which has a similar flat construction is 2.7km. However while the shore to shore distance for the 67m high Gateway bridge on the Brisbane River is only 470m, yet 17km of approach road had to be rebuilt when it was duplicated in 2009. The question is always how much of the approaches should be considered part of the bridge? The approaches on the Bribie and the Smout were relatively short and cheap.
Yes, Brisbane is much bigger than Auckland.
You want to find out how much weight your posicle bridge can hold before collpsing. So finding the weight of the bags of weights is very important to test your bridge. Then you will find out how much weight your posicle bridge can hold. ~be happy, life is good:)~
