Black holes can not be seen .To see an object, light should fall on the object and then reflect to your eyes but as nothing can escape from a black hole, light is not reflect to your eyes ,that is why they are called BLACK HOLES!!!

Where do you find a black hole?

The nearest known black hole is at a distance of about 6000 light-years, but it is quite possible that there are black holes closer to us.

If light does not escape a black hole does it just sit there?

Light continues to circle around the 'black hole' in what is called the 'Schwartchild radius before disappearing into the event horizon'. This is how that scientists are said to find the 'black holes'; they find the bright 'circles' with a black hole in it. light cannot escape a black hole because the escape velocity (the velocity needed to escape the gravitation pull of a celestial body) of a black hole exceeds the speed of light.

Where could someone find a black hole?

Black holes are in outer space, far outside our solar system. Most galaxies have a large black hole at the center.

What is the difference between a Scchwarzschild and a Kerr black hole?

A Schwarzschild black hole is a non-rotating black hole. The Kerr black hole is a rotating black hole. Since the latter is more complicated to describe, it was developed much later.A Schwarzschild black hole is a non-rotating black hole. The Kerr black hole is a rotating black hole. Is black hole a matter?

No, dark matter is not a black hole. Each one is a separate cosmic phenomenon. Use the links below to find out about each one.

What does it look like in a black hole according to shorelchild metric equation?

Perhaps you mean Schwarzschild metric? I have never heard of the Shorelchild metric and cannot find anything relating to it. A black hole with a Schwarszchild metric is a black hole with no angular velocity (Non-rotational) and no charge. Since it's impossible to perceive a black hole it looks no different from any other black hole.

What does the black hole do to the star?

A black hole originated as a star, that is, the star converted to a black hole.

Is there ever going to be a blackhole near your solar system?

There may already be one. The nearest black hole known is a few thousand light years away, but it is easier to find black hole if they are part of a close binary system. A single star converting to a black hole, or a part of a binary system where the components are not very near, would be difficult to detect. There may already be one.
