Stop light switch? Most are located at the upper end of the brake pedal under dash area
where can i find a diagram for a 1997 chevy s10 brake switch?
you can find the switch on the back of the brake pedal.
why or how do i find the brake light switch on my 1997 nissan 200sx. how do i chane it out.
It is above the brake pedal not under it. Follow the brake pedal bracket all the way up and you will see the brake pedal switch.
Usually at the base of the brake pedal.
Generally the brake light switch it under the dash, Follow the brake pedal arm up under the dash you should find it there. Hope This Helps.
get under the dash push brake pedal down a small crude switch with small nipple on is what your looking for
Next i'd check the fuses. If thei're all good, find out, where your brake light switch is located. If it's a pressure-switch, it's most likely build to the main brake cylinder. A mechanically switch you'll find somwhere near the brake pedal. Bridge the switch by connecting both wires, if the light works now, replace the switch.
Usually there is a switch under the dash above the brake pedal arm.
There are many places where one can find a guide on repairing a brake light switch. This includes reading blogs, asking in forums or looking at the Instructables website.
Find the switch attached to the brake pedal for the shift interlock and jump the two wires together. Be careful not to disconnect the brake light switch
Most likely it is brake light switch adjustment. Right hand side, halfway between brake pedal and brake - you will have to look for the connection, it is above the bar... there is a switch, you can just rotate the nut to loosen/tighten the switch as needed, really very easy once you find it, be careful not to rotate the switch, just the nut.
