You will need to contact the dealer, and pay high buck for them to enter the code. When i had mine done, i demanded the code, and they gave it to me. I wish you good luck. I don't know why, but the darned dealerships really want to put it to you for giving out this information. You can go to Ebay where there are sellers who will sell you directions on how to determine the code. They usually charge between $5 and $10 US. I did that to find out how to reprogram my key fob. The advice worked and was worth the $4 I paid for it.
A P1406 error code on a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire indicates a faulty EGR valve. This can result in poor engine performance and should be replaced immediately.
the answer is that you need to go to a firestone or certified Pontiac dealership to find out. They have most of the codes on a computer database, but try 4663757AVW556VVC

What is the unlock code for a pontiac g6
Did the old radio have any sound? Do you get a strange code on the radio display indicating that you are locked out? You might have to pull the radio back out and make sure that the speaker connection plug is plugged in securely.
The factory code for your 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix is 152 159. The unlock code for the radio is 0229.
If you mean the radio reset code, you need to contact the dealer if you don't have it. There is no way around it unless you have someone with a connection to a dealership. No one can just give you this unless you have the two series of codes that are specific to the radio, which are retrieved by pressing certain radio buttons in sequence (sometimes it tells you how to do this in the manual).
the code is US0374 in it's American and will be changed to EU6392 if it's been shipped to Europe
