there is no coil on 2004 freestar 3.9L engine. it is only an ignition module and it is located in the back of the engine by the firewall.

The best way to find out what gears to lube on a Ford Freestar is to start by looking in your manual. The manual has alot of important information. If it isn't there, visit the dealership.
According to the Manual it can be found on the Owners wallet card, and printed on the Label on the ECM (Engine Control Module) under the hood. or you can go to your dealer and they can look it up for you.

On the 3.9L engine, you can find the PCV valve on the left front valve cover. Just follow your PCV hose which you can gently pull off the top of the valve, and you will be able to give the valve a slight turn to pop out.
