Go to start then run. Here you will either need to type in command and press enter. Once you do this you should see the command screen. Once you are here type in ipconfig and press enter, you should see the default gateway address there after pressing enter. Hope this helps! From Ryan @ Edutech Plus
This works onWindows platform(98,XP,ME,Vista).
Go to Start and click on run, in run window type cmd and click OK.
In newly opened window type ipconfig /all and wait till your command is processed, your gateway will be marked as "default gateway".
The Gateway is the point at which you connect to the internet. This is usually done via a router. Select the Apple menu icon (top left corner) and then select About This Mac from the Menu. In the About This Mac window click the More Info button. In the left hand pane select Network and note the address after Routers in the right hand pane - it often starts 192.168..... That is the gateway address.
go to run type in cmd and then in cmd(command prompt)type ipconfig,or ipconfig/all and look for default gateway and there you go... hopeive helped
Go in your network device Details and will see all required information.
On Windows go to the command prompt and type IPCONFIG
Google it.
The gateway address is your router's inside local address. To find what your gateway and IP are you can open a Command Prompt (CMD) window and type "ipconfig/all" without quotes. Make sure you run the Command Prompt as an administrator when you open it.
Typically this address would not have a default gateway, since it is an APIPA address, which is not routable.
You can't find the gateway or any other address in a subnet mask; the subnet mask is used to separate the parts of an address - the network id part and the host id part. Look at other settings for the gateway, such as ipconfig or ifconfig
Depending on what operating system you have - if it is a Windows system then use the 'ipconfig /all' command. Look for the 'default gateway' address. This is the address to your internet. For Unix based systems, use the 'ifconfig -a' command and/or netstat command to get the same info.
The web address of the Gateway To Science is: http://gatewaytoscience.org
The web address of the Delta Gateway Museum is: www.deltagatewaymuseum.org
The address of a default gateway can vary widely depending on which device on which network is the default gateway. There isn't one specific default gateway address.A popular address is one used on home based networks, 192.168.1.1
