There are 4 "treasures" or items you need: the draught, ice, chalice, and lantern. If you already have the draught from the basement and the ice from the refrigerator, the only thing left is the lantern.
Matching the Clocks
To get it, you go to the third-floor bedroom and click the two clocks on the fireplace mantle. They are both turning, but have different times. When a clock reaches 12 o'clock (midnight), a skull pops out on a spring. The object is to get both clocks to strike midnight at the same time. You can speed up either clock by placing the mouse cursor over it, and it continues to run fast for awhile after you move the cursor away. This lets you get the clocks more-or-less synched. When they get near 12 o'clock, speed the slower one up a bit if you need to. Both skulls pop out at almost the same time, and a lantern appears in the fireplace. Fill it with kerosene in the basement (there's a barrel under the stairs) and then see the ghost cat to the right of the kitchen.
