How do you find the towing capacity?

There are a couple of ways to do this.

1.) Check the owner's manual (smartest and fastest way if you have it).

2.) Take your GCWR (which is usually located in the glove box or on the side of the driver door in a sticker form) and subtract your Curb Weight. Your curb weight is what your vehicle weighs without any people/cargo inside of it. To find your vehicle's curb weight, you can either contact a dealer, or find a vehicle scale somewhere (a lot of times at the junk yard).
