If you look underneath your truck you will find the back of the motor ususally near the drain plug for the oil. You will see a big aluminum circular part, which is the transmission, the bottom of it will have a pan with many bolts that hold it on and behind it will be the transfer case which has two driveshafts coming out of it assuming your vehicle is a 4x4 which i believe all Avalanches are.
Go to your local LORDCO auto or a PICK & PULL.
