You can post the question here. Give the make and model also give some detail about the condition of the BB gun. give it a rating of Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent and state if it is still working. This way you can get an estimate of value. Don't just ask "How much is my daisy BB gun worth?" that type of question is of no help and no one will be able to answer you.
Also place the question in the "Air guns and air rifle category."
Look up "Blue book of airguns 8 edition."
Which model, what is the condition of the BB gun or is it a BB rifle..
Daisy has a web page to help you determine the value of old BB guns. See the link below.
Not enough information. No model information, No condition given. No estimate can be given.
We need to know the model number and condition to give an estimate
What condition is it in, that determines the value.
Most good sporting good stores carry them. You can also find them on the web, just search for "BB GUN "
I searched the catalogue and I don't believe Daisy ever made a model 938 bb gun. Are you sure it's not a 1938 Red Ryder Rifle. If you want an estimate of value you will have to give more information about the gun/rifle, as to it's current condition. Here is what I suggest. Daisy offers a free service to evaluate the value of old daisy BB guns. See the link below and follow the directions. It took a long time but I found out that the Daisy Model 938 is a toy Pop gun not a BB gun. And has some value but it is not listed in my catalogues because it's not a BB gun.

Your parents will decide.
A BB gun uses compressed air to push a round steel "BB" out of a smoothbore barrel. It does not have the power, range, or accuracy of a firearm.
