If you are running a windows o.s you use the ipconfig command in the command prompt . If it's a Linux machine you use ifconfig command in the terminal

to find your system's ip address go to COMMAND PROMPT and type ipconfig

all you have to do is click start, run and type in cmd

it will open up a black screen.

type in ipconfig.

and where it sais ipv6 adress.......................

the next to it will be your ip adress
