You press "start new multiplayer game" then on the other computer (on the same network) press "find servers" Then press "LAN" if you cannot find the server there, open the console and type "connect <ip>" ip=internal IP address of the server computer
Ypsilanti = ip-see-lan-tee
IP address of each computer on a LAN has to be different to avoid confusion.
we have assign two ip address in one lan card. first we put the lan card in DHCH mode Then highlight the alternative ip address block, give their manual ip address.
internal ip is ur lan ip external ip is ip of wan that is provided by isp
This message will appear when your system is unable to get an IP address, so it generates a temporary one that cannot be used outside of your LAN. You will need to check your cables and other connections, and your DHCP service to find out why it cannot get an IP address.
If you have a LAN you can allocate an IP address . If you have a internet connection your IP is usually allocated to you by your ISP
Your external IP isn't used on the lan. Everything has its own internal IP and forwards their traffic onto the gateway which then strips off the internal ip and replaces it with the external ip. Then when the requested traffic comes back, the gateway forwards it back to the internal ip that requested it.
by man im assuming you mean a node/client. Lan is intranet wan is internet. on the lan the node has a ip that it talks to other nodes with, on wan your computer's ip talks to your modem which talks to the internet with the modems IP. Hope that helped.
ifconfig <if device> inet <ip address>
That would require your fridge to be connected to a LAN and would depend on the DHCP server for that LAN.
