Your progress through the Olympus coliseum depends on how far you have travelled in the other worlds ( for example locking never land unlocks the Hercules cup, etc.), I don't think it is a world you can lock; but eventually the different cups become available to you. The first is the Phil cup, the second is the Pegasus cup, the third is the Hercules cup, and the last is the hades cup. Hope this helps!
