Removing and changing brake pads is pretty simple. Lift the car on a jack, remove the tire, remove the brake shoe/caliper, remove the old brake pad, put in the new brake pad, replace the brake shoe/caliper, replace the tire and lower the car to the ground.

Should have 2 slide pins one on top and one on bottom- slide these out to remove caliper
I don't know if this helps, but I have noticed that documentation for Pulsar's of that era is hard to find. Usually I have been guided toward Sentra documentation. That may be easier to find.
remove tire. remove caliper assembly, it is not necessary to disconnect brake hosses, and hang caliper out of the way. simply pull off old rotor and swap with new one. replace caliper assembly and tire.

you need to take off both caliper bolts and remove the caliper from the carriage... most Mazda calipers will not pivot...
Master cylinder should be located at the driver's side firewall
