How do you reset the sensor light after you change the O2 sensor?

If the car is an 87 Pulsar, the reset switch is under the kick panel (Plastic between the bottem of the dash board & the floorboard) on the drivers side. Take this panel off & the switch is a push button on the metal box. Push the button & check the sensor light. The sensor light may also meen it's time to replace the timing belt. Don't ask how I know this.

How do you perform a stoppie in your pulsar 150?

Dude, follow the following steps and you'll get a nice stoppie:-

1. Warm up your front discs by simply applying the brake slightly and running your bike.

2. After this, run the bike at a speed of as low as15km/h, in case you apply the disc harshly you may not topple over.

3. Instead of jamming the brakes completely as many people may say, gradually nand slowly increase the braking pressure before jamming brakes completely.

4. As the above step is done, hold your grip tight both on the handle bar and on the fuel tank, and push your bike forward without getting of your seat.

5. If everything goes well, you'll slightly pop yourself a stoppie, not high enough but under safe limits.

6. Please repeat the above stated steps as frequently as you can so that you easily get used upto to them.

7. Once you are used up to them, increase your speed uptill 30km/h. This will make your stoppies higher.

8. When you get familiar with the stopping factors, you can try rollin stoppies by simply increasing your speed and decreasing pressure on the brake lever.

That's all dude, know you are a stoppie king.

Note:

1. Police hates stunting on bikes, so better check you are alone.

2. Check the gripp of the front tyre and that of the road because uneven grip can lead to accidents.

3. Always wear you safety gear cause you won't know when you'll topple over.

4. In case you topple and break yourself and your bike, please for god sake, don't blame me cause I have flipped thrice of my pulsar and dude it really hurts.

Goodluck..............

What is a pulsar?

A supernova leaves behind a tiny object termed a neutron star, which is far smaller than the Earth. It is the core of the star that exploded. The protons and electrons of its atoms have been squashed together by the force of the supernova, and they form the atomic particles known as neutrons.

A neutron star is unimaginably dense. It contains the mass of the Sun, but has that mass squeezed into a ball perhaps 20km (12 1/2 miles) across. Further, neutron stars are so small that they can spin very rapidly, many times per second or faster. When they spin they emit electromagnetic radiation which can appear as flashes from earth.

If the magnetic pole of the neutron star is "pointed" [See related link - Pictorial of pulsar] towards Earth, they are called pulsars, as they "pulse" as they spin and can be detected.

The flashes produced by the pulsars are detected as the electro magnetic radio waves caught up by the radio telescopes

The most notable pulsar is PSR B1919+21 with a period of 1.3373 seconds. When it was first discovered it was dubbed "LGM 1" for little green men 1, as the astronomers believed that only extraterrestrial life could generate such a precise signal.

See related links for more information.

The Pulsar is a car model by Nissan, but this question is in the Category of Astronomy, and its answer reflects that.

Radio

What is the security code for the radio in 1988 Nissan Pulsar Q?

well unfortunatley I went through the same issue with my Camaro. Every car has it's own special code. ( what happend ur battery died?) Now here is the tricky part you can either try to contact the dealer/ previous owner of the car and see if they have it. If they dont have it then you have to take it to a dealer and they hook it up to a computer and read the code off for you. The good news is after this you will have it. I believe you can also ask them to disable this also.

How do you change the alternator belt on a Nissan Frontier?

There is a serpentine belt on a fronteir, so is this a trick question? If not then there is a diagram on your fan cover. There may be a serpentine belt on new models, but older models such as a 98 have three different belts. So, NO, not a trick questions. Just an honest questions. Anyone have an answer as to how to change all three?

The top belt is for power steering and is the easiest to change. Just loosen the idler pulley (if you're looking down at the belt, it's the pulley on the top right) until you can remove the belt. The hardest part is working it around the fan, but the whole job can be done in five or ten minutes. The alternator belt is harder to reach, but you should see one pulley where the tension can be adjusted, so you would remove/replace it the same way.

Where can one find a gearbox parts breakdown diagram gor a 1990 Nissan Pulsar?

I don't know if this helps, but I have noticed that documentation for Pulsar's of that era is hard to find. Usually I have been guided toward Sentra documentation. That may be easier to find.

How do you remove the center dash to replace the radio on a Nissan Pulsar?

There are 5 screws that need to be removed, two of which are on the bottom of the bracket, and 3 at the top of the bracket, by the air controls. All 5 screws are easily accessable. Once screws are removed, the bracket pops of, leaving the radio fully exposed.

What is the timing belt configuration on a 1992 Pontiac Lemans 1.6 liter?

The timing configuration on the lemans is on the V shaped grooves that are on the housing on the engine side and on the sprokets themselves. line them up exactly and it should be fine, I found that looking downward onto the housing while turning the sproket works best, by the way the water pump tends to move the belt when you are setting it back into place so compensate by moving the sproket in the opposite direction.

How do you replace the starter on a 1989 16 pulsar?

I was able to change the starter on my 1989 Nissan pulsar, by first lifting the front of the car. Then I placed a jack under the passenger side of the engine. Then remove the bolt from the passenger side of the motor. Then jack the side of the engine till you can access the bolts on the starter. The bolts also serve as a mount for the transmission. There is one wire hookup. The stud on the starter is a light guage metal, and can be striped very easy. So be careful.

Where is the fuel pump relay on a Nissan Pulsar NX 1987?

I had mine replaced . I think it is in the front left corner near the driver side . It didn't help! If I let the fuel tank get close to empty, the car idles rough, and sometimes loses power for micro seconds, while going down the road. This usually happens when I'm on the freeway, at cruising speed, when my foot is only slihgtly on the throttle. The result is that the car bucks a lot. I think it gets water built up somehow .

What do you all think of an 1986 Nissan Pulsar nx 4-cylinder and 5 speed?

I had a black one that I bought new,it was my first new car! I really loved that car, I am a big guy and I had no problem being comfortable in that car. It used to go through front brakes, but maybe it was the way I drove it that made that happen. It didn't matter though, the front brakes were a breeze to change. I got hit on the passenger side by a Jeep and I drove away and the Jeep had to be towed. I put 140,000 miles on the car before I got rid of it. I am currently looking for a mint condition one and hope to find it and use it as my daily ride.

How do you get a stuck CD out of X-Trail 6 CD changer?

Find a friend who is a dentist or go to your dentist and beg for a double angle tooth scraper. Be aware that the CD is most likely going to get scratched by this, but it will get it out if you are very careful. Turn your car on just enough to get the power to cycle through the car. Insert the scraper into the CD slot and gently angle down into the system so that you get it just under the edge of the CD. Gently lift the CD and hit the eject button. It should work. If it doesn't, you have 2 options. Take it to a car Audio shop and pay them to take it apart and get the CD and while they're at it, fix the problem that caused it to jam. Or...buy a new CD and changer.

Hey, have you checked all the hoses that are relative to the fuel system? One of them might have a split, or it might be a case of tightening up a few clamps around the engine bay. Good luck.

How expensive is it to maintain a used Nissan Pulsar?

obviously your question is a little vague.... what year? what model? how many km's? ( or for you American folk miles? )

In my country (New Zealand) Japanese imports are every where....that means spare parts are too! and they are usually cheaper than eveything else.... ie - europian cars such a VW, Mercedes, BMW etc etc.

my advice....get a Nissan....they are reliable....and if you get one with a SR series motor you don't need to replace the cam belt...as they don't have one! (they have a timing chain) so it will save you a good chuck of change.
