The problem lies with Java.If you are using and older version of Mac OSX like 10.3.9 (Panther) and have the latest version of Java (Java 1.4.2_12) from Apple for Panther. Azureus 3.0.4.2 will still not work.
You have 2 options.
1) Update your Mac OSX to 10.4 and above and get the latest Java releases compatible with those versions of OSX. This will fix it!
Unless you're like me and your old Apple G4's will not support OSX 10.4.Bummer! I think it's getting time to finally upgrade the whole system.
2) Install an older version of Azureus on you OSX 10.3.9. Azureus 3.0.3.0 works fine and can be downloaded from:http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=84122Scroll down the page to find:View older releases from the azureus package
After installing Azureus will automatically install an update to 3.0.3.2.
Dendrobates azureus was created in 1855.
It is hard to say why Azureus changed its name to Vuze. Before the name change, Azureus launched a desktop player that they named Vuze, so perhaps it has something to do with that.
