Put speakers in recycle bin. Buy new ones.
Check if the headphone jack is working on your computer, if it is not, replace your sound card.
A PC without a sound card can beep from the in-built speaker that helps to find out about the faults in a system and produce sounds in programming languages like QBASIC.
The speaker is primarily used to output beep error codes when the BIOS detects a problem with the hardware configuration. At one time, it was also used for crude sound playback, but sound cards provided much better quality, so the modern PC usually has only a crude piezo buzzer for a speaker.
If you are using a single speaker or two speakers with a single sound cable, connect the cable to the green sound port on the motherboard, which is usually the middle port. A+ guide to hardware 5e pg.397
I suspect there is a faulty or improper cable being used. Do not connect a speaker-level cable (usually the back of the amp) from a guitar amplifier into your computer. You will fry your audio input.
Well if your computer doesnt have a built in speaker system, you can only use headphones or buds to hear it, unless you buy a speaker system that you can plug in.
You plug them into the speaker jack of your sound card, and turn the volume knob and/or the push the power button.
Check on your taskbar on the bottom right that your sound is enabled and not set to mute. You can also then open it and hit "Open Audio Mixer" to make sure you have the correct speaker enabled. If the problem still persists you can open your control panel and navigate to you sound settings. Also sometimes a good reboot/restart fixes the problem.
you cant repair the speaker without destroying the tablet PC
If the speakers are not powered (they don't plug into the wall), you can cut off the RCA plug, strip back the wires to a negative and positive lead, and connect them to the speaker posts of the receiver.
To connect a 7.1 speaker system to your PC, ensure your sound card supports 7.1 channel audio output. Use the appropriate audio cables (typically 3.5mm jacks or RCA connectors) to connect each speaker to the corresponding ports on the sound card or audio interface. Additionally, you may need to configure your audio settings in the operating system to enable 7.1 surround sound. Finally, test the setup using audio playback to ensure all speakers are functioning correctly.
