open rear boot - remove 90 degree twist lock for plastic light cover - remove wire connector (pinch ends and gentle pull away) just under the connector is the tab catch - push this down to unclip the bulb frame. Gentle ease out the entire plastic frame (difficult but not impossible, lift up just after pulling away from housing). Replace bulb and repeat process in reverse to re-seat frame, replace wiring adaptor, and re-cover with plastic trim.
It a persons ABS light and brake lights are on they should fix the problem. This usually means fixing something within the brake system.
You will need to change the brake light switch. The brake light switch can be found below the dashboard on the drivers side.

Is the brake fluid level LOW in the brake master cylinder in your engine compartment ? If the brake fluid level is LOW that will turn the brake light on in your dash
Are you sure it was the ABS light and not the Brake light? The Brake light indicates a leak in the system. The ABS light indicates a sensor gone bad.
you have to fix the problem or the light will just come back on until you do.
