The A pillar is the area adjacent to the windscreen. It supports the screen and houses the hinges for the front doors.
using the right hand lever from the steering column, use the button to select the service screen on the dashboard screen, then depress and hold the button in on the lever. you will notice the dashboard screen flash through the various screen then after a while your service interval will be reset.
display the screen that shows the service announcement (not any screen), identify the thin and tiny button on your velocimeter, then perssure for almost 30 seconds continuosly, you will see the screen changing but don't lose it until it clears.- work with mine...
On my 2006 55 plate Dynamic you toggle the computer to display the service details, hold the button in until it changes the screen to show when the next service is due.

I tried a lot of tricks, but none helped. I had to go to a Renault garage and they were able to reset the message. Sorry, but there is no easy way. Renault can reset the message, but the reason for the message must be gone. Otherwise the message will return in ½ a day. My Renault is from 2004 and have 100000 km on the clock. The message check emission appeared on the screen. I used the internet and together with a Renault garage (cost 55 £ for one hour) we discovered that the EGR valve was broken. (Cost 700 £ to change). 700 £ are a lot of money, so I tried to clean the EGR valve. Mounted on the EGR valve is a EGR solenoid. I took that one out and cleaned it. It was filthy. I went back to Renault to make them reset the fault, but it only worked for ½ a day. I ordered a new valve in Germany (½ price compared to Denmark) and am waiting to receive the valve and some items. Hopefully I will receive the valve next weekend and I will let you know how this went. If you have further question: rautzen@live.dk Last comment: Sorry if there are any typing errors.
You need to hold down the info button on the wiper stalk with the change oil message showing on the screen. This will reset the info. I have a 2004 Megane and this does not work. It did for the Service Soon Indiction only. By alternating between depressing the stalk button and then the Start button, the unit goes into a self test mode, but still does not clear the Change Oil Soon indication. Very frustating to say the least.
