if the butterfly's leg has fallen off completely you cant really do anything about it, but you can keep it safe from predators until it's leg has healed. if it hasn't fallen off completely just leave it, it will heal by itself.

Butterflies' wings cannot repair themselves. You can help repair the wings if you want to. If the damage is small, you may cut the other wing to match so that the butterfly is balanced when flying. I have successfully repaired butterfly wings by using clear nail polish or nail adhesive. You have to work real careful or you may make the situation worse or even kill the butterfly. Immobilize the butterfly by putting it on a towel in a covered container and in the fridge for a few minutes. This will put the butterfly in a state of hiberation, but you have to work fast to repair the damage because the butterfly will wake in a few minutes. After making the repairs you can either sprinkle baby powder on the repaired site or put it back in the fridge until the glue has dried. You want to make sure that the wing will not stick to the towel on which the butterfly is lying. You can also Google "how to repair a butterfly's wings."
