check for the fuse in the fuse box located in the engine compartement
remove the alarm fuse
Look for a blown fuse.
how do you fix a blown fuse in your mustang car. More than likely there is a reason the fuse blew and it will probably blow again when you replace it. This going to take some detective work. Using the fuse box legend that is in your drivers manual, determine which circuit that fuse protects. You will have to physically inspect all the wiring and components that circuit covers looking for something wrong.
check the RDO fuse in the fuse box under the hood located on the driver side of the vehicle.
for a 1997 it's a fuse...says "light" next to the fuse
you have to replace the appropiate fuse labeled "cigarette lighter" in the fuse box inside your car around the driver dash side.
I found out that I had a blown ignition fuse.
First check the fuse, if the fuses are all good, take the lighter out and replace it with another one.Simple.
This is most likely a simple fix. Check the fuse panels inside the car and in the engine compartment for a blown fuse.
You might want to get out your owners manual and see which fuse controls the windows and make sure it is not a fuse. Since you didn't mention the make of the car I have no more advice other than the fuse.
