Broken Glass can be replaced pretty easily. I know that cuz that's what I do.
The best place to find repair sites is ebay.
Search for iPod Touch repair service or just about any variation of it.
For a 2nd or 3rd gen I charge about $25.00
For a 4th gen $50.00
iPhone 4S $65.00
Don't stop looking for help out there cuz there's always someone that would love to do the work other than those high priced places :)
U can either order a screen and do it yourself( cheap ish but VERY RISKY) or u can go to a local istore and get it fixed there, depending on how bad it is they will either replace it or fix it.If u have warrenty it will/shud be completely FREEEEEE. dont worry i just now did the same to mine!! U can actually see inside it cuz i dropped it......HARD......... anyways next time. buy a case!!
So i have read that you just buy a new screen but then i read that the lcd is actually conceted to the screen in the 4g which is really stupid! So would i have to take them apart? I really need some help
You don't get your cracked screens fixed you go to the apple store to get a new one for $99, that's half the price of the one you buy or you can try AT&T stores for more help.
No
you have to buy a digitizer of amazon or ebay
if your ipod touch has lost it touch, that probably means the screen is broken. if it has cracks, there is another sign. my friends lost her touch and had to order a new screen from apple, or go to the store were you bought it.
There is not a way to adjust the sensitivity on the screen of your IPod Touch. If you think it may be broken you can send it back to Apple to have them fix it though.
REBOOT, but DON'T just Respring
destroy it and chuck it into the bin because it is no use.
Restore the iPod to the last restore point. You can do this in iTunes.
contact apple and they will fix it for you for $90 to $100 or if you have warrenty then they will repair it.
You need to remove it then reinstall it
There are currently four types of iPods with a touch screen: the iPod Touch, the iPhone, the iPad, and the ipod nano multi-touch.
All you have to do is hold down the top bottom with the home button. This worked for me when my ipod touch did that, hopefully it helps you!
No. an iPad is a 9.5" screen. An iPod Touch is a 3.5" screen.
