How do you fix a iPod touch screen?

Well first, did it turn into a white screen? If so hold the power button and home button ( circle part) together for 5-10 seconds or more and viola, your screen is fixed this has happened to me before i took it to an apple specialist and they told me this :)

Broken Glass can be replaced pretty easily. I know that cuz that's what I do.

The best place to find repair sites is ebay.

Search for iPod Touch repair service or just about any variation of it.

For a 2nd or 3rd gen I charge about $25.00

For a 4th gen $50.00

iPhone 4S $65.00

Don't stop looking for help out there cuz there's always someone that would love to do the work other than those high priced places :)

You will need to purchase the panel (circa £86 pounds in UK) then fit it.

YouTube has a couple of very good videos showing how to repair the screen display.

If you dont feel capable of that then look up itouch screen repair on Google and pay for a technician to fix it.

U can either order a screen and do it yourself( cheap ish but VERY RISKY) or u can go to a local istore and get it fixed there, depending on how bad it is they will either replace it or fix it.If u have warrenty it will/shud be completely FREEEEEE. dont worry i just now did the same to mine!! U can actually see inside it cuz i dropped it......HARD......... anyways next time. buy a case!!

So i have read that you just buy a new screen but then i read that the lcd is actually conceted to the screen in the 4g which is really stupid! So would i have to take them apart? I really need some help

You don't get your cracked screens fixed you go to the apple store to get a new one for $99, that's half the price of the one you buy or you can try AT&T stores for more help.
