Probably not the switch, I have the same problem and replaced the switch and still nothing but hazard lights. I've been searching for 2 days and have'nt come up with an answer, I have found alot of info on wiring harness corroding or also a melting wire on engine components that creates a short on different years and diff. mopars. Everybody has the same question and no answers! If I figure mine out I'll come back and post. Good luck! Maybe a bad turn signal flasher IF it works or stops working when you "slightly" move the stalk of the switch, you probably have a bad switch.
