How do you fix a retractable seatbelt on a 1993 Mercury Cougar?

To fix it I would recommed taking it to your nearest Ford/Lincold/Mercury dealership. If it is stuck forward however..... Where the belt should be in the driving position there is a screw, take it out. There is a manual override in there, turn it clockwise until you can move the belt to the proper position.
