It depends on what type of television you have. The different types have common symptoms and without knowing if it's a CRT analog set, DLP, LCD or projection set, it's too difficult to even venture a guess. What is happening most likely, is that the television's microprocessor is sensing something wrong in one of the areas of the set and it's going into a self-protect shutdown mode to prevent any further damage. If you're not electronically trained, I'd suggest you call a service technician out, but plan to spend some major bucks. I just hope you have an extended warranty.
get a new tv
There is probably something wrong with the calibration. Try turning the TV off and by off I mean unplug the main cord. If that doesn't fix it ask a person who has alot of experience with electronics. Hope your TV gets fixed!
Might need a software update mine did mine is a jvc lt-42pm30 and it needed an update this update is supposed to fix tv turning off and on, picture freezing, tv going into service mode and other issues hope i helped
Never turning off the television can have many negative effects. Firstly it runs up your electric bill and can burn out your television. Secondly, too much television is harmful to kids, it causes laziness.
Because its getting too hot
you can't you noob just turn off the sound on your tv
Call an engineer
if you have a 3d tv that is why, you have to turn 3d off
Turning off the TV at the wall instead of just with the remote will slow climate change a tiny bit. This "vampire" power, as it is sometimes called, adds 10% to the average power bill.
try hitting it if that doesn't work then get new batteries or a new TV hope this helps
