How do you fix air supencion?

There are a number of things that can be involved in fixing the air suspension on a Lincoln Town Car...some very expensive. As the cars age they sometimes develop leaks in the air bag suspensions themselves, which can be replaced. But if they have been leaking for a while, it is possible the compressor got overworked and burnt out and might also need replacing. When my '95 town car's suspension failed, a shop thought they traced it to a computer control (HIGHLY unlikely) and wanted $1500 to replace it...with no guarantee that the airbags and/or compressor would not also need replacing.

Instead I did web searches and found a number of vendors who would sell me conventional replacement springs, which is the route I took. I didn't even do the work myself (getting lazy in my old age) and it still came out under $600. If you are adventurous and handy with a wrench you may look in junkyards for an old Mercury Grand Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria and see if you could get their rear end suspension units...a bit of a gamble, but ISTR all three cars were based on the same chassis. (Ex cop crown vics had heavy duty suspensions...)
