Have a trained technician check it for codes and repair the cause.
You replace the engine.
if the problem is fixed, then whoever fixed it should have reset it. if it isn't fixed, fix it.
fix the airbag.
The airbag light is on because the airbag module detects a problem with the system. Fix the problem and the light will go out by itself.
smack it with a hammer
You would have to take it to a Ford dealership so they could diagnose why the airbag light is on. It is not something that you would want to do yourself.
You can't "clear" it unless you fix the problem that is causing the light to be on in the first place. That's the way all airbag systems work.
fix airbag fault & serv light will go out
The clockspring under the airbag is not connected or needs to be replaced! also the cruse control and radio controls in the steering wheel are probably not working
Go to a qualified mechanic. The warning light indicates some is wrong. A inadvertent deployment of the airbag will most certainly injure occupants.
wiring problem...easy to fix..no mechanic needed...
Under the car between the engine and the transmission. It is slightly a pain squeezing it out of there but it ain't a bad fix.
