In a 1998 Ford F-150, the cruise control system's fuse is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. The relay for the cruise control is generally found in the power distribution box, which is located under the hood. To identify the specific fuse and relay, refer to the owner's manual for the exact locations and specifications.
Clock spring located in steering column is bad. part makes electrical connection.
In a 1994 Ford F-150, the cruise control relay is typically located in the engine compartment, near the fuse box. It can usually be found mounted on the driver's side fender or near the battery. To access it, you may need to remove some covers or panels. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific details related to your model.
To troubleshoot the cruise control on a 1998 Ford F-150, first check the fuse related to the cruise control system in the fuse box. Next, inspect the brake pedal switch, as a faulty switch can disable cruise control when the brakes are pressed. Additionally, examine the throttle cable for any signs of wear or binding, and ensure that the cruise control module connections are secure. If the issue persists, consider using a diagnostic scanner to check for any error codes related to the system.
