it should be stamped on the belt or in your owner manual, also depends on whether you have a short or long case engine.
How do I rethread the serpentine belt on a 2002 Malibu with a V-6?
The 2005 Chevy Malibu has a timing chain, not a timing belt.
Universally, they should be near the kick starter and at forward end of the drive belt.
check the serpentine belt tensioner for being bad, it might not be keeping the drive belt tight enough against the pulleys.
The 2003 Chevy Malibu does not have a timing belt. It has a chain which should last the life of the engine.
I know I saw a routing diagram in the engine compartment of my 2000 Chevy Malibu. Yours should have it too unless too worn. I think it is near the belts/front of car.
take off the belt use a 1/2 inch drive. remove the bolt be careful it is spring loaded. and dothe reverse putting the new one back on.
It does not have a timing belt, it has a chain.
It has no Timing Belt, it has a Timing Chain.
None. It does not have a timing belt. It has a timing chain.
