I own a 93 g-20 and sometimes my passenger side window will not close, the only times that it will not go up if it is cold outside and I roll it completely down, the motor for the window is located inside the door panel, if the motor is bad then you remove the door panel to access the motor, remove the bolts holding the motor and install a new one,
it may just be stuck, if it is stuck in the down position, have someone pull up on the window while you operate the door window switch and see if it will now go up by pulling up on it
How do yo fix a stuck driver side electric window on a 1998 pontiac firebird.
how replace vertical window guide channel
window make a noise, but won't roll down
where is the fuses for the power windows
Check your fuse box for the horn, and accessories will be the fuse for your locks and window.
The question is too vague. Is the glass broken, does the window get stuck half way, does the window fall down, is the motion jerky, is it manual or electric?
Aligning a driver side window on a 1998 Honda Civic requires the removal of the door panel. With the door panel off move the window until it can properly align to the track. Once aligned slide the window into place and reinstall the door panel.
you prolly need a new window motor... check a local junkyard.
You'll probably need to buy a new power window motor, if it's power window, that is.
pop it out with a screw driver unplug 3 switches and reverse procedure.
In almost all makes of car you have to replace the window regulator. That's the entire mechanism that holds the window and raises and lowers it.
You can try replacing the master control switch on the driver's door. If that doesn't fix it you will need a new window motor.
