It depends what is the problem. Broken/bent valves usually means you need full machine shop work to see if the head is repairable. If only leaking valve seats, you can hand lap the valves yourself if you have the tools and equipment. But in any event, you may require special tools to adjust the valves after the head is installed if you do the work yourself.

She would fix your head only if she is a doctor.
Daewoo Leganza was created in 1997.
I had an external antifreeze leak, and I tried a product called steelseal and it worked as advertised, just took off radiator hose and added the product as per instructions still no leak, i think it messed with my thermostat though.
This issue could be caused by the thermostat sticking. There could also be an issue with the head gasket seals.
The only fix is to remove the head and replace the gasket.
Replace the head gasket is the only fix.
If you remove the head then of course you replace the head gasket.Where can you get sodium silicate to fix a blown head gasket?Know that adding sodium silicate to an engine is only a temporary fix for a blown head gasket and will not permantly fix the problem. The only permanent fix is to replace the head gasket. I would never add any head gasket fix material to any engine.
You can't fix a cracked head unless you can weld. it must be replaced with a new head.
