The problem I had with mine was, the motor was fine and spinning, but the lights had trouble getting up. I ended up finding a bearing kit on eBay for 8 bucks, and just took the motors out, opened them up and replaced the bearings. That was 3 years ago; I haven't had a problem since then. Another problem I had with them was when I turned them on, there was no power going to the motors to pop them up. So I cleaned out the headlight door module, and they work 95% of the time. And when they don't, all I have to do is tap on the module and they pop right up.
Check the fuses. If they are good then you will have to replace the headlight switch.
There is a short in the wiring block behind the driver's side front headlight.
The best way to find out if your headlights are dimming is to turn your lights on when it's dark at your house and check and see. Also you can go to auto zone and ask if the lights in your car are dimming and what you can do to fix them.
What are the headlights doing? Is the bulb burned out? Are the lights not coming on at all? Are they misaligned?
how do i fix my daytime running lights on my 2001 grand prix gt headlights work perfect
because your husband is to lazy to fix them
On my 98 sunfire, the tail lights and marker lights only work if you turn on the headlights. If only the daytime lights are on, the Pontiac on the trunk is illuminated but no other lights at the rear until brakes or turn signals are activated. This is common with a lot of vehicles out there. Daytime running lights are not necessarily the same candle power as the headlights. I can tell a big difference in mine.
A bad relay could be the reason why the parking lights on the Toyota Sequoia won't turn off. Swapping the relay out with another one may fix this problem.
check the bulbs themselves they sometimes short out internaly & cause feedback also check sidemarker lights I have changed all bulbs and fuses! Wiring problem???
Short in the wiring.
The headlights work on a totally different relay than the parking and fog lights. The headlight relay or headlight fuse is usually blown when only the parking and fog lights work.
Headlights? Brake lights? Tail lights? Signal lights? Courtesy lights? Dash lights? Check engine lights? Need more info please.
