Buy new onesif you’re using an iPod or mp3 player. However, if you’re using a laptop, then it might possibly be a software error. To make sure, right click the “Sound” icon on the taskbar and select the “Sounds” option from it (Note: this fix only works in Windows 7). On the menu that shows up, select the “Playback” tab and select your headphones from the list. After you’ve done this, go to the “Properties” button in the lower-left corner that just came to life, and select the “Levels” tab in the menu that shows up. There you should see a volume slider, with a button saying “Balance” to the right of this. Click the button and make sure that the two sliders in the screen are equal. If they aren’t, equalize them and your problem should be solved. If they are already equal then – sorry, your headphones are broken.
with skullcandy earbuds i have found if you take the little mesh metal piece that you hear sound out of, out, they not only work again but play much louder. now this is only true with the in ear earbuds. not the over ear, or on ear.
Best get it checked out by an authorised repairer as there is no volume equaliser for sound on the iPhone, or touch, unless you download an app that includes this feature, which might help you to determine or fix the problem.
It could just be your headphones. Get a new pair of headphones, and plug them in. Or, you go to volume lock on the old iPods, and set it to loud.
hi! I have a beats pro and my problem is that the headphones pulleys its broken and one of the ear cups doesn´t work so what sould i do??
Yes there are plenty of methods to repair and fix accessories such as iPod headphones or earbuds. However, unless you can fix the headphones yourself, it is probably not worth it to pay for them to be repaired. Fortunately, there are many sources and examples online which can help take you through the process of repairing Ipod headphones.
My suggestion is get new earphones, but if you have tried other earphones and it still hasn't worked then you should go to best buy or somewhere that would know things about iPods and ask them to fix it. Another way that worked for me is to hit the earphone gently against the table and may shake the inside into place.
