I track this down to OpenDNS blocking the download site.
This is typical of OpenDNS if you haven't registered your IP with the service while using it. OpenDNS is a great service. Be sure to register your IP with them.
The Error 3259 is difficult to pin down but is usually attributed to a conflict with some other software -often antivirus or download accelerators. You could try turning off anything like this that you have running while downloading. Log out of your iTunes/Apple account. Restart the Mac and then log back in and try the download again.

That's an error from iTunes. Try reinstalling iTunes and Quicktime.
