Clean the orifice tube at the valve cover. That's the tube that goes from the valve cover to the intake. At the valve cover it gets plugged causing crankcase pressure to get fed through the breather tube.

There isn't one on the 1990 model. Cabin air filters are recent additions to some models AC systems and this feature wasn't on any car in 1990.

The 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee IAT sensor can be found attached to the air intake hose. The IAT sensor will be near the air filter box.

open your hood. look at your air filter housing. driverside. it is located on your fender wall across from your air filter.
It did not have one from the factory. If it has one now, it is an add on kit.
