If your air compressor is working all you have is a air leak in a air shock. You can buy one on line for about $80. Very easy to replace. Jack up one side of the car, take air hose loose by twisting and pulling, take out pin and top and lift up from bottom. Replace with new one. You may be able to tell which one is leaking because that side will be lower. If you only replace one the other one will start leaking in a few months.
no the towncars only have rear airbags all years
You can troubleshoot the rear air suspension of your 1990 Lincoln Town Car with a diagnostic tester. Most Lincoln dealerships have diagnostic testers.
In the trunk
your air bags have a lick
A possible cause for this is that air suspension pump is continully working due to a leaking air bag
Town cars have an air suspension system. There are air bags on the rear axle instead of springs. There are a lot of things that can go wrong: Leaks in the bags or lines. Pump not working. Fuses blown. Google "check air suspension". You can also buy a conversion kit that replaces it all with springs designed just for that. I paid $115 on eBay and am glad to be done with the air suspension.
how do i find the compressure for my rear suspension? or any possible issues for rear air suspension wire issues.
