It's been about 25 years since I removed a brake drum. Still, I remember a bit. You remove the tire and whatever else you can. You should see a couple of long springs. The springs are what you have to remove, and they don't come real easily. They can be an aggravation to put back on, too, but it's certainly doable - just a bit of a pain in the ***. You slide a screwdriver under the end of the spring and pull the spring off its catch/mechanism. Once the springs are off, I think the drum slides right off.
Rear disc ? if it is rear disc brakes there is a drum brake in side of the rear rotor that is your parking brake and has an adjuster in it if you pull the rotor off.

Take the wheel off to see if you see a caliper for a disc brake or a drum for a drum brake.
Better hope it is not a drum brake- it was originally equipped with a disc brake caliper.
