You start by doing diagnosis. This lets you figure out what's wrong with them, and lets you know exactly what you need to repair. You don't want to change the switch if the problem is a faulty wire, after all.
Check your fuses
mass air flow sensor
unbolt tranny from engine clutch is between them
Your car has two flasher relays. One for the turn signal lights and one for the hazard lights. Replace the one for the hazard lights. Any auto parts store can tell you the location and sell you a new one.
The problem is the reverse light switch. It is located on the top of the transmission that should sloved your problem.
Try bypassing the reverse light switch that plugs into the transmission. If your reverse lights come on, voila! Problem solved. Buy a new switch.
the reverse light switch is either out of adjustment. or broken. new one should be fairly cheap
i have the same problem with my Mazda millenia 2001
No problem, bring it in first thing in the morning and i will get right on it......
could be the neutral saftey switch .
presuming you've checked all the fuses and relays theres a sender switch on the transmission should have 2 wires attached to it.. make sure the wires are not disconnected or damaged
Tell us what's wrong with them and what country you're in and we'd be glad to help.
