You have to use iTunes to eject the iPod. There is no option to eject the iPod on the iPod screen. It only flashes "DO NOT DISCONNECT" Or you could force an eject from the computer's tool bar.

The other is answer is both right and wrong. I recently ran my battery dead and my jvc stereo plays one song and won't eject. This is obviously a problem that shouldn't exist but it was caused by the power supply being removed. I have not found the answer in the owners manual of anywhere else for that matter. Couldn't tell you why, but I can tell you how to fix it. Unplug the negative terminal on the battery (make sure the car is off) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before re-plugging it. This will reset the radio and eject any CD that is in the CD player.

I have had the same thing happen a few times as well. I have had luck (a few times) inserting another CD on top of the stuck CD almost all the way in (but still holding on to the second CD) then hitting the eject button. As you hear the stereo try to eject the CD pull the second one out as well. It seems like there is enough friction between the CD's to help the first one come out. Good Luck!!
